A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE / “ALL TO CHRIST I OWE”

Jesus PAID IT ALL

You can tell folks who have had a real personal encounter with death or who have had to suffer with a life-threatening illness and have been through the valley of the shadow of death and have not died.  You can tell folks who have had a personal encounter with GOD’S GRACE and have been resurrected with Christ and forgiven from a debt that they could not pay.

These folks appear more grateful than folks who think that they deserve and are entitled to everything that they have. They seem to be more aware of the value of life and the enormous Grace of GOD that allowed them just to live another day.

They don’t want to argue or fight. They don’t want to waste too much time worrying about the world and things of the world. They appear to live in expectation of an ending of all things human and relentlessly prepare for all things eternal and divine. They are grateful souls who, after having been redeemed, realized what great a price was paid for their salvation.  And they are highly motivated to redeem the time by bringing GOD PRAISES and WORSHIP through a committed life OF SERVICE and HOLINESS.

You can tell folks who have had a genuine encounter with THE LORD and who have seen their own worthless wretched condition against the backdrop of YHVH’S HOLINESS and realized that their absolute best moral behavior is as a dung rag in the sight of the ONLY HOLY GOD.

You can tell grateful Saints from Christians because Christians tend to understand that they need to join a church, pay tithes and offerings into an organized Christian institution and believe the gospel in their hearts and confess Christ with their lips and serve in a CATHOLIC or PROTESTANT Faith and they will be saved.

However, Saints know that there is nothing that we can do of our own, no religious institution that we can build and join and no amount of money could we pay that can redeem our lost souls. We are insufficient of ourselves.  Our intellect is too retarded whereas God can take the simple things of the world and confound the minds of the wise.  Our strength is too feeble whereas the storms (Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Floods, Lightening and Thunder and Dark Clouds) that GOD rides upon annihilates the creations of man.  Nothing man-made can withstand even the breath of GOD.  Our righteous account is bankrupt and our reservoir of hope is depleted.  We Need Redemption.  We Need A Savior.  And Jesus Paid It All.

Yes, we can tell folks who have been with Jesus.  They will be the first to say…

“ALL TO CHRIST I OWE.”

Remembering To Be Grateful

Charleston Nine

As I continue on my journey of trying to live a grateful life, I Remember The Nine Lives That Were Brutally and Cowardly Slaughtered By Racism In Charleston, South Carolina.

After over 400 years of oppression not seen or experienced by any other race of people on the planet, and even in the face of the First Black United States  (2 term) President, racism still thrives and the slaughter of innocent Blacks still exists and is being carried out in the most heinous and clandestine ways.

I value life. I value all life.  I value Black lives in particular because we are the ones being targeted for assassination, execution and slaughter.  Yes!  I am grateful for my life.

I AM GRATEFUL

Grateful heart

Good Morning Everybody. Praise the LORD YHWH in the name of HIS SON YeHoWsHua Ha Mashiach.

Everyone may not be able to relate to this, but I am just grateful to be alive today and that things are as well as they are.
No. I am not rich.

No. I am not in the best of health.

No. I don’t have all my bills paid.

No. I don’t have all of my needs met.

No. My dreams have not come true.

No. I am not the happiest person in the world.

But I am GRATEFUL!

I know that things could be a whole lot worse than it is right now. I know that it can get really bad, really quick, fast and in a hurry. I know the other side is always present and threatening. I know that it is a close to me as a shadow and can strike between heartbeats and change my life eternally.

But I am GRATEFUL that YeHoWsHua is closer and HIS HOLY SPIRIT keeps me and HIS NAME shelters me and HIS Angels Watches Over Me Constantly and He Hears and Answers My Prayers.

I AM JUST GRATEFUL!

I THANK GOD THAT I AM STILL ALIVE!

A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE – “Be Merciful & Forgive!”

The Master's Table

He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. — Psalm 103:10

bar47

We are already blessed beyond what we deserve.  Therefore, be grateful!  And when dealing with others, remember that the Lord has not dealt with us according to our sins and neither should we deal with others according to their transgressions.  Be merciful to others as God has been merciful toward us.

SPECIAL THANKS

thank-you 32
I know that I said that I will be leaving WordPress and Facebook for about a month, but I couldn’t leave without first saying Thank You!  I want to thank everyone who prayed with and for me on this past Saturday evening.  I believe that our united and unselfish prayers reached Heaven & the Throne of God through Christ Jesus.

“This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.” (1 John 5:14-15)

We have only to thank God for answering our prayers and to wait with faith-filled expectation on the miracle of His promise.

There is no failure in God.

Thank You!

The Cost-Benefit Ratio Is Just Too High

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.” – 1 John 2:16-17

“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God…” – I Corinthians 6:9-10

The Cost-Benefit Ratio Is Just Too High.

  • The cost of sex outside of marriage is just too high when weighed against the benefits of eternal life.
  • The cost of an occasional lie is just too high when weighed against the benefits of fellowship with Christ.
  • The cost of doing my own thing is just too high when weighed against the benefits of obeying the Eternal Commandments of God.
  • The cost of the temporary pleasures of this world is just too high when weighed against the benefits of inheriting the Kingdom of God.
  • The cost of homosexuality, drunkenness and vulgarity (profanity/cussing/cursing) is just too high when weighed against eternal life.

The Cost Of The World Is Just Too High When Weighed Against The Benefits of Heaven.

What is your cost-benefit ratio?

The Power Of The Blood

“Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God…the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.” – Daniel 9:20-21

bar47

Daniel was praying in Babylon and there was no temple or altar in Babylon. There was no evening sacrifice made. As a matter of fact, it had been almost seventy years since a sacrifice had been made in the temple. The time for the evening sacrifice was between 3 and 4 pm in the afternoon. That’s when the sacrificial animals were slain. And although Daniel was away from his homeland and the temple, he remembered the time of the evening sacrifice and the hour for prayer.  It is also known as “the ninth hour.”

Daniel says that he was praying at the time of the evening sacrifice. That is to say that he was praying while conscience of the blood sacrifice that was made in the temple long ago .

I would have us to be mindful of the fact that Jesus died exactly the same hour as the evening sacrifice! “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is, to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46) And it was that same hour that Daniel was praying; only Daniel was praying long after the time of those animal sacrifices and hundreds of years before Jesus’ death.

Daniel’s prayer, like any prayer that has ever been offered, will only get to heaven on the basis of a blood sacrifice. Whether that sacrifice was made seventy years ago, as in Daniel’s case, or two thousand years ago as in our case, we need to connect our prayers to Calvary and the blood sacrifice of the Lamb of God.

Pray Under The Blood.
