“Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.” ~ Revelations 22:11
Sometimes we have to accept the fact that folks are going to be just who they are going to be.
But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’ Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people. ~ Ezekiel 3:27
Let there be no fornication (sexual impurity, immorality or perversions) or greed named among you. Such sins have no place among God’s holy people. ~ Ephesians 5:3
Many Christians have given Christianity a bad name and have subjected Christ to public disgrace and shame – crucifying him again.
They have done this wicked thing by willingly and brazenly committing sexual sin and bragging about being pregnant or having babies outside of the bonds of marriage.
The contemporary churches and their pastors have welcomed this shame by not addressing it strongly enough and by allowing violators of God’s sexual ordinances to hold positions and participate in the holy sacraments without ever having to repent of any wrong doings.
With the exclusion of widows and divorcees, “unwed pregnancies” and “single parenting” is common place in many Christian assemblies today and are sometimes celebrated in their churches.
If in deed you are a part of the body of Christ, you should not tolerate this brazen disrespect of our LORD and of our GOD.
“Here is how it works: it was through one individual that sin entered the world, and through sin, death; and in this way death passed through to the whole human race, inasmuch as everyone sinned.” ~ Romans 5:12 (CJB)
We may not like to think about it this way but every one of us were born into sin and therefore everyone is born a child of disobedience and damnation.
From our earthly birth we inherit disobedience, treachery, deceit, fornication, adultery, extortion, drunkenness, sexual perversions, lying, murder, idolatry and all forms of wickedness. Because Adam sinned, the sin nature was passed to all human beings. Sinning comes naturally to us. And the wages of sin is eternal separation from the Father, i.e., death. (Rm. 6:23)
And regardless of how sweet and kind and generous and loving and patient and good we may be, all of us have sinned and deserve death. (Rm. 3:23)
And if we would like to live and be delivered from the wages of sin and the inherent damnation into which we were born, we must be born again.
“Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.” (John 14:21)
It isn’t complicated. It is really simple. Our love for Father Yahweh is only “real” if we keep His Commandments.
God can see our love for Him by our obedience to Him.
It isn’t complicated.
“Then Satan entered Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve apostles. Judas went to the chief priests and the temple guards and discussed with them how he could betray Yeshua. They were pleased and agreed to give him some money…Yeshua said to him, ‘Judas, do you intend to betray the Son of Man with a kiss?’” (Luke 22:3-5, 48)
A friend that Jesus knew and trusted betrayed him and was instrumental in His crucifixion. Judas used his friendship with Jesus and Jesus’ love for him for personal gain and profit. He conspired with Jesus’ enemies to destroy him.
Unlike Jesus, we may not know who our betrayer is. However, as a Christian, we should be prepared to be betrayed and to suffer at the hands of those whom we love and trust.
If our Lord and Savior was betrayed by his friend and follower, we will be also.
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.” (Isaiah 26:3)
The reason that some of us are not at peace and the reason that some of our spirits are so abrasive, agitated, frustrated, tense and combative is because of what is on our minds or what we have allowed to fill your thoughts.
I COMMAND YOU TO STOP IT IN THE NAME OF CHRIST JESUS! BECOME GOD CONSCIOUS! KEEP YOUR MIND STAYED ON THE PROBLEM SOLVER AND NOT THE PROBLEM!
