“WORSHIP WITHOUT OBEDIENCE IS LIKE FAITH WITHOUT WORKS”

Obedience to Gods Heart

When I was a boy, the community seemed to care for each other and worship with others regardless of their denominational distinctions. But as I have had the cloak of naivety and innocence removed from my eyes over the years, I realize that it was all a pretense.

Some Christian churches are some of the biggest practitioners of religious bigotry there is.

In the town where I was reared, community residence used to share worship time with each other regardless of denominational differences. But as the years have progressed so has the divide.

Some denominations will not worship with another denomination.

Households are divided along denominational lines and religious traditions. A husband attends a Baptist church while his wife attends a Methodist church and their children are confused about it all and choose not to attend any church.

Churches within 50 feet of one another whose time of worship are exactly the same cannot worship together under the same roof because of denominational distinctions, religious traditions, church polity, denominational rules and guidelines, fabricated and unscriptural protocols and politics. Yet, they like to lie and say that they are all serving the same GOD.

REALLY???

One church believes in Calvinism. One Church believes in Methodism. One practices Catholicism and the other believes in Pentecostalism and yet others may espouse Fundamentalism, Humanism or Scientology. Regardless of their ism’s, they are all out of the will and order of GOD. And although they may appear to be worshippers of YHVH. But they are not. (2 Timothy 3:5)

They worship their own man-made image of GOD and they worship in the temple of their gods, effectively committing idolatry while deluding themselves into thinking that they are worshiping the TRUE and LIVING GOD in the Way that He prescribes to be worshiped. (Matthew 7:21-23)

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES RECORDS THE APOSTLE OF CHRIST SAYING:

“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” (1 Cor. 1:10)

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES ALSO RECORDS CHRIST AS HAVING SAID:

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35)

Where is the unity and ONENESS? Where is the ONE LOVE? Where is the OBEDIENCE?

I see the Catholic and the Protestant Churches.

I see the variations of Christian churches and belief systems.

But Where Is The Ekklesia of CHRIST – The Bride Adorned for her Groom?

Where are the obedient and loving children of YHVH?

Where are those who worship in the SPIRIT of HOLINESS?

Where are those who worship in the WAY of TRUTH and LIFE?

WHERE?

Father seeks worship in spirit and truth

THIS IS TRUTH MINISTRY – “UNTIL WE REPENT AND OBEY, OUR WORSHIP AND PRAISES ARE REJECTED”

Isaiah 1:10-20 Common English Bible (CEB)

10 Hear the Lord’s word, you leaders of Sodom.
Listen to our God’s teaching,
people of Gomorrah!
11 What should I think about all your sacrifices?
says the Lord.
I’m fed up with entirely burned offerings of rams
and the fat of well-fed beasts.
I don’t want the blood of bulls, lambs, and goats.
12 When you come to appear before me,
who asked this from you,
this trampling of my temple’s courts?
13 Stop bringing worthless offerings.
Your incense repulses me.
New moon, Sabbath, and the calling of an assembly—
I can’t stand wickedness with celebration!
14 I hate your new moons and your festivals.
They’ve become a burden that I’m tired of bearing.
15 When you extend your hands,
I’ll hide my eyes from you.
Even when you pray for a long time,
I won’t listen.
Your hands are stained with blood.
16 Wash! Be clean!
Remove your ugly deeds from my sight.
Put an end to such evil;
17 learn to do good.
Seek justice:
help the oppressed;
defend the orphan;
plead for the widow.

18 Come now, and let’s settle this,
says the Lord.
Though your sins are like scarlet,
they will be white as snow.
If they are red as crimson,
they will become like wool.
19 If you agree and obey,
you will eat the best food of the land.
20 But if you refuse and rebel,
you will be devoured by the sword.
The Lord has said this.

We can mime. We can dance and shout real pretty too.

We can spew eloquent poetry and music lyrics in melodious tones and rhythmic beats.

We can make the guitar talk and the keyboard cry and the drums move our feet.

We can wave our hands in the air like we just don’t care and say “hallelujah,” “Praise the Lord” and “Amen” with the angelic host.

And none of these things do God require. And none will keep us from being lost.

But what He does command of us is to be born again of the water and of the Spirit and keep His Holy Commandments.  Yet, some refuse to obey God’s WORD and thus in the end He must damn them.

Some think that they can play with God and praise Him while in immorality, rebellion and sin.  Some think that they can worship their way to Heaven if they give money time and time again.

But Why not OBEY ACTS 2:38 and enter into The WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE. Then and only then will your worship and your praise be RIGHT.

REPENT!

UNTIL WE REPENT AND OBEY, OUR WORSHIP AND PRAISES ARE REJECTED BY GOD.

A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE / “IT ISN’T COMPLICATED”

The Master's Table

“Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.” (John 14:21)

It isn’t complicated. It is really simple. Our love for Father Yahweh is only “real” if we keep His Commandments.

God can see our love for Him by our obedience to Him.

It isn’t complicated.

REPENT!!!

I Am Only A Man – An Ambassador In Chains – A Slave of God and of Christ

The Master's Table

“And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.” (Acts 10:25-26)

I have heard countless believers proclaim with pride and assurance who their pastors were. They expressed trust, love and assurance in the personality that was shepherding them. Some have exalted their pastors to heavenly heights and pay homage to them as if they were gods. And no doubt, they felt justified in their devotion and loyalty to their pastors. But this can become a slippery slope when admiration turns into idol adoration.

Some things belong only to God.

David said it best when he said, “The Lord is my shepherd.”

A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE

The Master's Table

And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves. And He said to them, “It is written, ‘MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER’; but you are making it a ROBBERS’ DEN.” (Matthew 21:12-13)

Are You Like Christ?

Christ Like

It has been said that to be a Christian we must be Christ-like. And there are many people who consider themselves to be Christian. However, when we look at ourselves and our actions, do we resemble Christ?

Are You Like Christ?

Jesus was born for the purpose of obeying the Father even to the point of ridicule, torture and death.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus invested himself in others repeatedly without consideration for fame, fortune or celebrity.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus went out of his way to evangelize the undesirables and he risked the stigma of being a social misfit and a religious heretic in order to reach the oppressed, broken, discarded and downtrodden souls.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus demonstrated righteous indignation and holy boldness toward the corrupt and greedy money changers that operated in His Father’s House. He turned over their tables and expelled them from the temple.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus did not conform to the popular religious system but identified their leaders as a perverted, poisonous, hypocritical and deceitful brood of vipers.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus did not seek credentials or approval from the religious system.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus did not identify with any religious Faith institution nor did He adopt their ways or encourage His Apostles and Disciples to adopt the ways of any religious institution.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus felt and demonstrated compassion on the poor, the sick, the widows and children.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus did not think himself too glorious to bend down and wash the feet of those whom he loved.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus did not hold a grudge against Peter for denying him but saw his contrition and restored him.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus never gathered wealth for himself nor taught his disciple how to gain worldly prosperity.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus never engaged in homosexuality, sexual perversions or lewd and vulgar language and behavior.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus did not practice overindulgence, intoxication or drunkenness.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus was not focused on carnal beauty, physical enhancements or outward adornments.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus obeyed The Father and kept all of His Commandments – not breaking one of them – not even the Seventh-Day Sabbath.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus never sought the glory, prestige, honor or position of ecclesiastical titles.

Are you like Christ?

Jesus was buried in a watery grave by baptism and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Are you like Christ?

The Father said that Jesus was His beloved Son in whom He was well pleased.

Are you like Christ?
