THIS IS TRUTH MINISTRY – “UNTIL WE REPENT AND OBEY, OUR WORSHIP AND PRAISES ARE REJECTED”

Isaiah 1:10-20 Common English Bible (CEB)

¹⁰ Hear the Lord’s word, you leaders of Sodom.
Listen to our God’s teaching,
people of Gomorrah!
¹¹ What should I think about all your sacrifices?
says the Lord.
I’m fed up with entirely burned offerings of rams
and the fat of well-fed beasts.
I don’t want the blood of bulls, lambs, and goats.
¹² When you come to appear before me,
who asked this from you,
this trampling of my temple’s courts?
¹³ Stop bringing worthless offerings.
Your incense repulses me.
New moon, Sabbath, and the calling of an assembly—
I can’t stand wickedness with celebration!
¹⁴ I hate your new moons and your festivals.
They’ve become a burden that I’m tired of bearing.
¹⁵ When you extend your hands,
I’ll hide my eyes from you.
Even when you pray for a long time,
I won’t listen.
Your hands are stained with blood.
¹⁶ Wash! Be clean!
Remove your ugly deeds from my sight.
Put an end to such evil;
¹⁷ learn to do good.
Seek justice:
help the oppressed;
defend the orphan;
plead for the widow.

¹⁸ Come now, and let’s settle this,
says the Lord.
Though your sins are like scarlet,
they will be white as snow.
If they are red as crimson,
they will become like wool.
¹⁹ If you agree and obey,
you will eat the best food of the land.
²⁰ But if you refuse and rebel,
you will be devoured by the sword.
The Lord has said this.

We can mime. We can dance and shout real pretty too.

We can spew eloquent poetry and music lyrics in melodious tones and rhythmic beats.

We can make the guitar talk and the keyboard cry and the drums move our feet.

We can wave our hands in the air like we just don’t care and say “hallelujah,” “Praise the Lord” and “Amen” with the angelic host.

And none of these things do God require. And none will keep us from being lost.

But what He does command of us is to be born again of the water and of the Spirit and keep His Holy Commandments.  Yet, some refuse to obey God’s WORD and thus in the end He must damn them. 

Some think that they can play with God and praise Him while in immorality, rebellion and sin.  Some think that they can worship their way to Heaven if they give money time and time again. 

But Why not OBEY ACTS 2:38 and enter into The WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE. Then and only then will your worship and your praise be RIGHT.

REPENT!

UNTIL WE REPENT AND OBEY, OUR WORSHIP AND PRAISES ARE REJECTED BY GOD.

It isn’t complicated. It is really simple. Our love for Father Yahweh is only “real” if we keep His Commandments.

God can see our love for Him by our obedience to Him.

I Am Only A Man – An Ambassador In Chains – A Slave of God and of Christ

“And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.” (Acts 10:25-26)

I have heard countless believers proclaim with pride and assurance who their pastors were. They expressed trust, love and assurance in the personality that was shepherding them. Some have exalted their pastors to heavenly heights and pay homage to them as if they were gods. And no doubt, they felt justified in their devotion and loyalty to their pastors. But this can become a slippery slope when admiration turns into idol adoration.

Some things belong only to God.

David said it best when he said, “The Lord is my shepherd.”

And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves. And He said to them, “It is written, ‘MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER’; but you are making it a ROBBERS’ DEN.” (Matthew 21:12-13)

The closer you are to the Father, the less tolerant you are of those who disrespect Him.

“For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly.” – Romans 12:4-6

“For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body.” – 1 Corinthians 12:13

As of 2012, it is estimated that there are over 43,000 Christian denominations worldwide. For all intent and purposes, these separate organizations do not have any organic relationship with each other. Each owns and controls their pulpit as well as who is allowed to occupy the office of Pastor. They are divided, splintered and in some cases at odds with each other.

This is not what the Bible identifies as Christ’s Church.

The Word of God frowns upon denominational Christianity.

“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought” – 1 Corinthians 1:10

My Only Concern Is…

As I approach the one year anniversary of my life and death struggle and the miracle of answered prayers, I am reminded of how very fragile and fleeting life is. And although we don’t want to think about it, one day will be our last day here on earth. And I just want all of my friends and enemies alike to know that it has been and continues to be my prayer that you receive from the Lord what He has entrusted me to deliver to you without charge or prejudice—the saving Word of God. I pray and hope that the commentaries, Bible questions, videos, audio lessons and radio broadcasts, along with my webpages and newsletters have inspired some to repent of sin, turn from their wicked ways, seek God’s face, surrender to His will and Obey His Eternal Commandments. All of the countless articles, posts and video and radio productions are hard work but they are works of obedient Love for God and sacrificial Love for you.

It is my deepest hope that none should perish but that all should come to repentance and the Truth of salvation in Christ Jesus. For the day of our departure will come as a thief in the night and I want to be ready when my day comes. I don’t want to die with my work undone or anybody’s blood on my hands. Therefore, I sound the alarm to Repent before it is too late. (Ezekiel 33:1-9)

While some are concerned with their ministerial careers and position in their churches and communities, I am only concerned with carrying out the mission and purpose of God – Saving the lost, deceived, confused, hurt, misled, damaged, trapped and dying souls who are willing and eager to hear and obey God’s Truth.

I have learned that God’s way is eternal and does not change because He doesn’t change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. His commands are eternal because they were perfect from the beginning. And to truly worship the LORD, we must learn to call His Law a delight and not try to explain them away or dismiss them. I pray and hope that you’ve heard the Voice of God and not my voice and that your path is straighter though narrower than it was when we first met.

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

All Glory and Honor belongs to God the Father in the name of Christ our Lord.
