My Song of Testimony and Praise / God Is Keeping Me

This song is dedicated to everyone who is going through a lengthy illness and some difficult times.  You are not alone. But be encouraged.  You are not consumed.  God is keeping you. (O.W. Prince)

A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE

The Master's Table

1 Peter 3:3-4

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

Proverbs 31:30

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

1 Samuel 16:7

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

Have you ever admired someone from afar and thought that they were beautiful or handsome and then got a chance to really speak with them only to discover that they weren’t as beautiful as you thought they were? As a matter of fact, they now appeared wicked and ugly to you.

Have you ever thought that someone was ugly or unpleasant but then got a chance to really share with them only to discover that they were the most beautiful creature you had ever met? As a matter of fact, they now appeared to be beautiful and attractive to you.

What Happened?

Did your eye sight suddenly get better or did the direction of your focus change?

Genuine beauty is always internal.
