ATTENTION! ARE YOU A THIEF?

copyright-infringement

God’s children are commanded to be honest and respectful which isn’t much to ask of anyone. However, it takes character and class to give credit where credit is due and honor where honor is due.

The Bible says in Romans 13:7 (Complete Jewish Bible)
“Pay everyone what he is owed: if you owe the tax-collector, pay your taxes; if you owe the revenue-collector, pay revenue; if you owe someone respect, pay him respect; if you owe someone honor, pay him honor.”

We must not steal even an idea that is not ours without getting permission if possible. (There are exceptions) And it doesn’t cost anything to just note or say where you are quoting from or where an idea or thought originated if known.

According to Wikipedia Dictionary, Copyright infringement is the use of works protected by copyright law without permission, infringing certain exclusive rights granted to the copyright holder, such as the right to reproduce, distribute, display or perform the protected work, or to make derivative works.

Respect the creative work and/or genius of others. Remember that God requires His children to be honest, respectful and truthful in everything.  This includes the copying and unauthorized us of the intellectual property of others.
