“Remember” / This Week’s Word and Prayer for June 03, 2013

Psalm 103

In today’s world, many are keenly conscious of those “benefits” associated with their employment. What sort of insurance do I have? What is my retirement package, etc.? But how frequently do we contemplate the “benefits” of our loving Father?

In Psalms 103:1-5, we are admonished to remember five marvelous “benefits” of being loved and cared for by God. They are expressed with the following verbs: forgives, heals, redeems, crowns, and satisfies. Let us reflect upon these promises.

This Week’s Word

Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:1-5

This Week’s Prayer

Father, I pray to You in the only name that is above every name—YeHoWsHua HaMashiach* – The Anointed One From God – Jesus the Christ.  We bless You Lord!   With all that is within us, we bless Your Holy Name.  We will bless You Lord, with all of our soul and we will not forget all of Your benefits.   You have forgiven all of our iniquities. You have healed all of our diseases and redeemed our lives from Hell and destruction. You have crowned us with loving kindness and tender mercies and You have satisfied our mouth with good things so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s.  You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. You have not dealt with us according to our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. Your mercy is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear You….To them that keep Your covenant, and to those that remember Your commandments to do them. Thank You for Your forgiveness, Your mercy, Your kindness, Your love. Thank You for crediting us with Your righteousness through our obedience and Trust in Your commands and in the Lord Jesus Christ. We now stand in obedient faith and trusting hope making our request known, believing that You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, even our faith.  This is our prayer in the name of the LORD YeHoWsHua* (Jesus) the Christ, Amen.
