Today’s Sabbath Message – “God has Spoken/Work It Out”

A lot people have said that “God is speaking. Are we listening?”

But God has already spoken to us through a Son. (Hebrews 1:1-2) and the Son communicated the Father’s will to His Apostles. And while speaking to His chosen Apostles, Jesus said, “I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” (John 15:15) And when Jesus was praying to the Father for his Apostles he said, “I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.” (John 17:8)

Therefore God has already spoken and though we have not personally heard or seen him. We have what he spoke and caused to be recorded of himself In Holy Scriptures. And this is for our good and is revealed to us through the preached/taught Word of God as opposed to the traditional entertaining whopping of some preachers.

The world through its wisdom (intellect, science, education, philosophy, theology and training) cannot know God. God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe (Trust, obey and submit). “For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.” (1Cor. 1:21-27)

Therefore, the revelation (understanding) of God’s Word and the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is only revealed by what is preached (proclaimed and taught). But the Scriptures say and warn us that this divine revelation is only communicated by those who are sent by God with the revelation. (Romans 10:15)

But not all are sent by God. (Ezekiel 13:1-3)

The message (Word) of God through Christ was deposited into the Apostles and the Apostles carried and spread the Word to every known nation. It was their message, the preaching of Christ and God’s ordained plan of salvation that saved souls. (Acts 2:38-42) The message of the Apostle of Christ is what the Church of Jesus Christ is founded upon and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18) And the Apostles warn us that if anyone or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel (the message of salvation) other than the One they preached, they shall be under a curse from God! (Galatians 1:8-9)

Therefore, equip yourself with enough Holy Scripture as to be able to identify a Sent Man of God as opposed to a wannabe or a false prophet. Your salvation depends upon it. Study the Word (Holy Scriptures) for yourselves and trust no man with your salvation but “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling… that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.” (Philippians 2:12-15)

Now, I want to ask you a personal question. Who are you going to believe? The Apostles of Christ or those who entertian you and make you feel comfortable believing a lie?

Only through Christ and God’s ordained plan of salvation can we ever hope to overcome the world and its sins and enter into the Kingdom of God.(John 3:3-7)

Don’t trust your eternal salvation to religious rhetoric, denominational theology, pulpit theatre or prosperity doctrines. Stay with the anointed Word of God and the teachings of Christ and His Apostles.
