MY SONG OF TESTIMONY AND PRAISE / “We Can’t Give Up Now”

Dear friends, subscribers, fellow bloggers and fellow slaves of Christ Jesus our LORD:

I am still blanketing you with prayer and love.

Keep Looking up through the tears. That is what I do everyday.

Love you!

MY SONG OF TESTIMONY AND PRAISE

The New Life

Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity. But that is not the way you learned Christ! — assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus,to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:17-24)

MY SONG OF PRAISE AND TESTIMONY

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALL-TIME SONGS OF PRAISE AND TESTIMONY.

REGARDLESS OF WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH, I KNOW THAT GOD IS GOOD!

I WONDER DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS TESTIMONY.

LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SAY SO BY TYPING “AMEN” OR “YES” IN COMMENTS.

[“OH LORD! I FEEL THIS THING… SOMETHING IS STIRRING ON THE INSIDE…”]

Then My Living Shall Not Be in Vain

On this past weekend I attended a memorial service for an elderly gentleman.  The presiding personality came to a portion of the service where family, friends, community and church were asked to say something memorable about the deceased; to speak to his good qualities, deeds, character, personality or service.  After a long moment of deathly silence, not one soul rose to speak on his behalf.  No one had anything to say.

I thought that this was a sad commentary to the close of a life that had spent over 73 years on earth.

I am sure that someone had something good to say about the deceased.  However, they just weren’t at the funeral that day.

This made me pause and think to myself, “I don’t want my living to be in vain.”  I want somebody to miss something about me that would make it easy for them to speak at my memorial service.  I want to help somebody to the extent that if they were to be asked to help eulogize me, it wouldn’t a chore but a pleasant stroll down memory lane.

If I can help somebody, as I pass along,
If I can cheer somebody, with a word or song,
If I can show somebody, how they’re travelling wrong,
Then my living shall not be in vain.

My Song of Praise and Testimony

On Thursday, February 6, a dear friend of mine in Texas, whose name is Peggy, felt led of God to encourage and comfort me with this song.  I pray that it encourages and comforts you too.

Thank You My Dear Sister!
