THIS IS TRUTH MINISTRY / “SIN DOESN’T LIVE HERE ANYMORE”

BORN AGAIN DOESNT SIN SEXUALLY

But sexual immorality and any impurity or greed should not even be heard of among you, as is proper for saints. (Ephesians 5:3)

TODAY’S SABBATH MESSAGE / February 27, 2015 / “ARE YOU STILL CRUCIFYING CHRIST?”

Go To Hell

After observing the licentiousness of some of our so-called church folks and their preoccupation and approval of sexual immorality and perversion, I am convinced that many of us need to be reminded that our sins placed Jesus on the cross.  Many need to be reminded of the ghastly and costly nature of sin and what it did to Jesus.

As Christians, we cannot embrace sin in any fashion because sin separates us from the One we love and worship. It is filthy, ugly and deadly.  If after receiving the knowledge of the Truth and the Precious Blood of Jesus, we willfully sin, we have only the expectation of our own damnation. (Hebrews 10:26-31).  If we deliberately keep sinning – abusing the sacrifice of God in Christ Jesus – then we are guilty of the blood of Christ.

PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

According to a report by medical doctor, Mark Eastman, the suffering Jesus experienced on the cross is unimaginable.

For instance, prior to Jesus’ trial he was flogged by the Roman guards. “This process typically involved a whip with numerous leather thongs, 18-24 inches long, with bits of metal, bone or glass embedded in the leather…. Scourging was an extreme form of punishment. The skin on the victim’s back was usually shredded, thus exposing the underlying muscle and skeletal structures. Severe blood loss and dehydration were the rule. Many victims died from such scourging.

After the scourging of Jesus, the Roman soldiers beat Him a second time with their hands and with a reed. Then they put on him a crown of sharp flesh penetrating thorns.

Then came the crucifixion. It is arguably the most painful death ever invented by man and is where we get our term ‘excruciating.’ It was reserved primarily for the most vicious of criminals.

Even though Pilate, the Roman Governor, said, “I find no fault in this man,” he gave in to the jealous crowd and allowed Jesus to be crucified. With his arms stretched out Jesus was nailed to a wooden cross. The nails, which were generally about 7-9 inches long, were placed between the bones of the forearm (the radius and ulna) and the small bones of the hands (the carpal bones), permanently destroying the largest nerve in the hand called the median nerve…. In addition to severe burning pain the destruction of this nerve causes permanent paralysis of the hand.

The positioning of the feet is probably the most critical part of the mechanics of crucifixion. First the knees were flexed about 45 degrees and the feet were flexed (bent downward) an additional 45 degrees until they were parallel to the vertical pole. An iron nail about 7-9 inches long was driven through the feet between the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones. In this position the nail would sever the dorsal pedal artery of the foot, but the resulting bleeding would be insufficient to cause death.

The resulting position on the cross sets up a horrific sequence of events which result in a slow, painful death. Having been pinned to the cross, the victim now has an impossible position to maintain. The result is that within a few minutes of being placed on the cross, the shoulders will become dislocated. Minutes later the elbows and wrists become dislocated…. As time goes on, the victim is less and less able to bear weight on the legs, causing further dislocation of the arms and further raising of the chest wall, making breathing more and more difficult. The result of this process is a series of catastrophic physiological effects.

Eventually the heart begins to fail, the lungs collapse, and the victim suffocates. He dies a slow, unbelievable excruciating painful death.

And all of this Jesus did for you and me gladly and willingly because he loves us with an everlasting love. He died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins and mine and satisfy the wrath of God so as to reconcile us back to God – assuring that we who believe and obey His commandments will rise as he did from physical death to be alive forever with God.

“However, the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral [adulterers, homosexuals, lesbians, fornicators]  those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

If you are reading this and have become convicted of your sins, it is not too late. For “if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

Love Is Not An Excuse To Sin

Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.  (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 ESV)

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be! Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.” But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him.  (1 Corinthians 6:15-17)

We cannot take that which is holy and belongs to God and unite it with unholiness without some life changing serious consequences. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE / “IT IS A BLESSING TO BE PERSECUTED”

The Master's Table

“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”  ~ Matthew 5:10-12

Have you ever noticed that God’s Way and his choices in leadership and messengers aren’t subject to man’s scrutiny or assessment? God doesn’t subject Himself or His decisions to the wisdom of man. GOD Is GOD ALONE!

Often God’s chosen and sent emissaries are rejected by the world and its systems of organized religions and Christian churches. Often God’s true servants must stand alone, preach alone and endure a very lonely life.

Look at Jesus’ earthly minister. He was not supported or endorsed by any mainstream religious sect or organization (denomination). To the contrary, because he preached differently from the recognized Jewish religious organizations and was not sanctioned by them nor did he submit himself or his message to them for their examination and approval, he was ostracized, ridiculed and marked for destruction and death by them.

He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

~ Isaiah 53:3-5 ~

If you aren’t a part of the good old boys network and if you don’t play politics and kiss butt and pay monetary tributes and give praises to certain persons who deem themselves entitled to decide your fate in ministry, you will be ostracized, ridiculed, despised and rejected by men and marked for destruction and death by them.

You will often stand alone! But be encouraged because you are not alone. Rejoice! You are in the divine fraternity of God-sent messengers who were also rejected and despised by men but remembered by God.

Glory To God!

A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE / August 26, 2014 Birthday Edition

The Master's Table

“Here is how it works: it was through one individual that sin entered the world, and through sin, death; and in this way death passed through to the whole human race, inasmuch as everyone sinned.”  ~ Romans 5:12 (CJB)

bar47

We may not like to think about it this way but every one of us were born into sin and therefore everyone is born a child of disobedience and damnation.

From our earthly birth we inherit disobedience, treachery, deceit, fornication, adultery, extortion, drunkenness, sexual perversions, lying, murder, idolatry and all forms of wickedness.  Because Adam sinned, the sin nature was passed to all human beings. Sinning comes naturally to us. And the wages of sin is eternal separation from the Father, i.e., death. (Rm. 6:23)

And regardless of how sweet and kind and generous and loving and patient and good we may be, all of us have sinned and deserve death. (Rm. 3:23)

And if we would like to live and be delivered from the wages of sin and the inherent damnation into which we were born, we must be born again.

A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE – “A Time To Hate” / August 12, 2014 Edition

The Master's Table

Adonai, how I hate those who hate you! I feel such disgust with those who defy you! I hate them with unlimited hatred! They have become my enemies too.  ~ Psalm 139:21-22 (CJB)

Adulterers! Do you not know that the love of this world is hatred toward God? Therefore whoever chooses to be a friend of this world is an enemy of God. ~ James 4:4 (Aramaic Bible in Plain English)

Have You Done Enough In The Fight Against Sin?

Brainwashed

Have you ever watched cartoons with your children? Have ever spent some time analyzing what messages are being sent through television, movies, videos and special programs?

Children spend more time with their televisions and digital media devices than they do listening and sharing with their parents. (Shame on the parents)

Have you noticed that almost every action cartoon like “The Spectacular Spider Man” or “The Justice League” or “Dragon Ball” are all violent shows shrouded in some fabricated sense of social righteousness?

Have you ever wondered how these type programs affect young minds that have not yet fully developed their Christian Moral Consciousness or godly Character? These things twist the truth and send a message that conflict can be resolved with violence.

Are you aware that young minds and hearts are easier to train, indoctrinate and control?

Why do you think that the world media entities and militaries are purposely targeting the young and undeveloped minds? Could it be to modify their morals and change their beliefs and behaviors so as to make them more easily susceptible to direct orders, subliminal suggestions and mass brainwashing that serves the purpose of the State/Nation/Satan?

Why are we so accustomed to violence these days and not abhorred or sickened by the viciousness and ungodly ways that lives are being destroyed and folks are being killed, murdered, raped and tortured at an ever increasing rate? Could it be that we have been conditioned through various television shows and news broadcasts not to feel disgust at the satanic horrors and vile spiritual filth (homosexuality, fornication, lewdness, drunkenness, murder, treachery and licentiousness) that surround us everyday? Could it be that we have had our sense of right and wrong twisted or redefined by the god of this world so that we no longer experience “righteous indignation” and a genuine fear of God?

The brainwashing has already begun and the evidence is in the condition of our world, our children, ourselves and our lack of righteous indignation at open homosexuality, the legalization of sexual immorality and the vicious and murderous assault of Satan on God’s Eternal Laws, Christ (God’s living WORD) and Christians everywhere.

Have you noticed that things aren’t as good as some pretend that they are?

Freedom of religion has become an intolerable nuisance to the world, especially if that Faith opposes unrighteousness, homosexuality or any other sexual immorality?

Hebrews 12 Resist Sin

It Wasn’t Always this Way!

Wake Up!

Rise Up!

It is not time for sleeping. The battle has begun.

Fight the Good Fight of Faith.

We have not yet resisted unto death. So fight harder, speak louder and more frequently and stand strong in the Lord!

“You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin.” (Hebrews 12:4)

A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE

The Master's Table

“Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”

They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.

When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”

“No, Lord,” she said.

And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”

(John 8:4-11)

bar47

God doesn’t save us from the consequences of our sins just for us to go sin some more.

NO! He says, “Go and sin no more.”

But afterward Jesus found him in the Temple and told him, “Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something even worse may happen to you.” (John 5:14)

To continue to sin after being saved from the consequences of sin is to invite an even worse consequence than before.
