Faith without obedience 1

Does going to church make you a child of God?

No! Devils attend church services too and many are pastors and church officers too.

Does praising GOD make you a saint of GOD?

No! Every tongue – good and evil – shall confess that Jesus Christ is LORD.

Does believing in GOD and CHRIST make you a follower of CHRIST?

No! Demons believe and know that there is only ONE GOD but they follow Satan.

Does confessing Christ with your mouth and believing in your heart make you born again?

No! Confession without genuine repentance is a lie. And belief without corresponding obedience is wishful thinking.

There is only ONE authentic God-authorized WAY to be born again and that is to surrender to GOD and TRUST and OBEY ALL of GOD’S ETERNAL COMMANDMENTS IN CHRIST, including HIS Command to Be Born of the Water and of the Spirit.

Wisdom Rock Guide Children by Example

Praise the LORD everybody and Blessed Sabbath to all.

I feel compelled and led to share something with you.

Maybe you didn’t know this but I begin documenting on the internet over 15 years ago through various Newsletter Blogs and pages and eventual on WordPress and FaceBook because I wanted to leave a legacy and a memorial of who I am for my children to have access to after I am gone.

I had then and still have today, significant personal reasons why I have to redeem the time as expeditiously and as effectively as I can and given the fact that I have nothing of material or financial worth to leave, I thought that I would leave my Faith. And the best way that I thought to accomplish this is through documentation the world-wide web.

Any parent who has come face-to-face with their own mortality will attest to the fact that we would like their children to remember the very best about them and their love for them. And what better legacy to leave our children than your testimony of Christ and your wisdom and Faith in God.

In today’s atmosphere of parental alienation, many children are being denied the Faith, love and intimate relationship of one of their parents. Therefore, we must sometimes think of creative ways to tell our posterity that we love them and that we wish to be there for them even in our death.

Therefore I write for my children’s sake just like I write for the sake of the Kingdom of God. I am motivated to save my children and lead them the right way and by being so motivated by love, the LORD has Chosen to lay His Hands on me and endow me with a love and passion that spills over into this ministry and its articles – benefiting more that my children but those who have no relationship to me.

This is not surprising since God’s love for the Hebrew Nation spilled over into love for the whole world and blessed the gentiles too with the offer of eternal life.

Being filled with selfless and sacrificial love is to be acquainted with GOD WHO is LOVE. And HIS LOVE is beyond explanation. ALL that we can say is that GOD so Loved us that He Gave of Himself to save us while we were yet unsaved and unrelated to Him.  He imputed His Own righteousness to us through the veil of HIS SON’S Flesh and He Poured out the price of our redemption through the shedding of HIS ONLY SON’S BLOOD.

And it is because of God’s Love for Me that I so eagerly share with you what I initially was motivated to share only with my offspring. God’s love will make you reach beyond yourself to touch and impact the lives and hearts of those who hate you as well as those who love you.

Everyone is not going to understand this but it is for who it is for.

Now for what I feel led to share:

When FATHER YHVH says “I GOT THIS” we need to let it go and leave it in HIS Hands. But that doesn’t mean that we should be idle and irresponsible and lie on the bed immorality or recline on the couch of do nothing. To the contrary.  We should be about our FATHER’S business; following HIS instructions (Commandments) so that we may be in the proper position and place to benefit from HIM having dealt with our issues.

Example: If I tell my daughter that “I have got this” regarding a need of hers and she knows my commandments and instructions and she is very familiar with my WAY yet she refuses to obey and honor my Way and although I took care of her concern and I have sent her everything that she asks for and a little bit more, she cannot receive them because I sent them to 238 Obedient Faith Boulevard and she has moved to 666 Father Haters Circle.  She is out of place and out of her blessing because of her disobedience.

We have to be in the right place with God to receive the benefits of His intervening on our behalf.

The Master's Table

It’s A Family Matter

“Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. You will be hated by everyone because of me… Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter in-law against her mother-in-law—a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’” – Matthew 10:21-22, 34-36

Following Christ and the Commands of God is dangerous and risky business. It will cause us to be hated, despised and even killed by our own blood relatives.

Christ reminds us that we may sometimes have to choose between him and our relatives. He says, “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.” – Matthew 10:37

And elsewhere he promises that, “Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for the sake of the Gospel, will receive a hundred times as much in this present age – along with persecutions – and will inherit eternal life.” – Mathew 19:29, Mark 10: 29-30

But God does not leave us without a family, He defines our family in a more eternal and spiritual way. He says, “For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” – Matthew 12:50

Everyone who keeps the Commandments of God is my family member. Everyone who is born-again according to the Holy Scriptures is my relative. We are related by Water, Spirit and Blood. (1 John 5:6-8)

A Crumb From The Master’s Table

The Master's Table

“For God so loved the world that he gave…” – John 3:16

Sacrifice, love, commitment, devotion and worship all have something in common. They all require the action of unselfish giving.

When God sought to save the world from the wages of sin, He GAVE His most precious gift—His Son Jesus Christ. Giving was God’s act of love toward us. (Romans 5:8)  As Christians we are taught to show our love for God and for one another through willful, purposeful and unselfish giving. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Whom have you loved today?

The Master's Table

“This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.” – 1 Corinthians 2:13

“For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel–not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.” – 1 Cor. 1:17

The Preaching of God’s Word is not an exercise in the discipline of persuasive oratory eloquence and academic wisdom as some have made it out to be.

We should never depend upon our human skills, talents, education or charm to convey God’s saving Truth.

Whether written or spoken, Preaching is the Word of God in Truth as revealed by the Power of the Holy Spirit.

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” – Zechariah 4:6

Do You Feel Entitled?

Titus-3-5 a

Whenever we start feeling like we deserve God to answer our prayers and to be good to us because we obeyed His commandments or did some good deeds, we have missed the whole meaning of His Mercy. (O.W. Prince)

A Crumb From The Master’s Table

The Master's Table

The Truth doesn’t have to be cordial, sweet, comfortable, politically correct, fashionable, sensitive, pleasing nor entertaining. IT IS THE TRUTH. As a matter of fact, the TRUTH often offends those who are stubborn, in error, non-repentant and prideful. – (Matthew 13:57, Hebrews 4:12, Matthew 10:34-39)

However God’s Word is always True and Eternal. God Word Is Salvation!  He is Spirit and He is Life.

(Malachi 3:6, John 6:63, John 14:6, John 17:17, Romans 1:16)

A Crumb From The Master’s Table

The Master's Table

The Bible indicates that love is not just a human feeling but a divine commandment. It is an action. It is something we must do and not just feel or say.

Jesus gives the commandment this way:

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. – Matthew 5:43-45

We are commanded to love our enemies by praying for them, by blessing those who curse us and by doing good to those who hate us. This identifies and sanctifies us as children of God.

In and of ourselves we are incapable of performing this divine love for it is natural for us as human-beings to hate our enemies. But with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). This divine love is only possible if we have been born again – born of the water and of the Spirit (John 3:3-7) – translated into the kingdom of God (Colossians 1:13). It takes the power of the Spirit of Christ to keep and perform the commandment of love (John 15:5, Romans 5:8).

There are some other scriptures commanding us to love and instructing us on how to love that I would encourage us to seek out and explore for we are not to love in words alone but in actions and in prayer. And more importantly, we are to love like our Father (John 3:16, John 15:13, Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:8).

Anointed 3

These days they are passing everything off as “the anointing.” Everything that can sing, perform, act or speak well is being loosely accredited as being anointed of God. Every entertaining talent and or gift is now being called “anointed.” Charisma, discipline, intelligence and the ability to inspire or emotionally move others is now being called the “anointing.”

Christ and His Apostles didn’t recognize these things as being an “anointing” and neither should we. There are just too many talented folks who are sex addicts, drug abusers, adulterers, fornicators, liars, cheats, homosexuals and profane folks to call them all “anointed.” These talented folks may be found in various vocations such as Pastor, teacher, singer, musician, choir director, bishop, elder, evangelist, deacon, etc. They may perform their assigned tasks well and with flare and charisma. However, if they are not born again – saved according to God’s divine plan of salvation and filled with the blessed Holy Spirit of God, they cannot possibly be considered “anointed.” They may be talented or gifted but they surely aren’t anointed. (John 3:3-7, Acts 2:38, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 15:8)

The “Anointing” that the Holy Scriptures speaks about may best be understood as a divine influence, a holy emanation, the power of the Holy Spirit or the power of God. Unction is another term for the anointing. The Holy Anointing (Unction) that the Bible speaks of in Christ is significant in the consecration and acceptance of a person to holy or sacred use by Father YHVH.

Let’s keep it real.
