A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE

The Master's Table

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.” – 1 John 2:15-17

I’ve never met a person who was so heavenly minded that they were no earthly good. But I have known people who were so earthly minded that they were no heavenly good. (O.W. Prince)

My Song Of Testimony And Praise / Just Another Day

This song is dedicated to those of us who know that today was not promised to us and it is a day that we will never see again. We are grateful for just one more day and for being kept by God.  Hallelujah!  Amen!

SIZE DOESN’T MATTER

Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins.  And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them.  For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”  – Luke 21:1-4

“The Amount Doesn’t Determine the Size Of the Gift”

I have discovered that there are some folks who want to give but just don’t give because they don’t have what others have to give. However, the Word of God indicates that it is not the size of the gift but the size of the heart that gives. Every $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 or $1000 gift that is freely given into God’s Kingdom Ministry or to one of His little Storehouses, will be acknowledged by the Lord and blessed by God.

“For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.” – 2 Corinthians 8:12

The Master's Table

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. – Psalm 23:5

When we are in the fellowship of the Lord, we are made to sit and eat at the King’s table. Regardless of our station in life, we are treated as honored guests. We are under the King’s divine protection and He blesses us while our enemies look on powerless to prevent it. Goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives as we dwell in the house of the King.

And Moses said to the Lord, If Your Presence does not go with me, do not carry us up from here! – Exodus 33:15 (AMP)

What Moses is saying is that “If God is not going, I’m not going either.” Is there anything today you want more than God’s presence? Think about it!

“Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.  Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary and gathered from the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.” – Psalm 107:1-3

HAS GOD DONE ANYTHING FOR YOU? NAME THREE THINGS THAT THE LORD HAS DONE FOR YOU.

bar47

As for me:

  1. God has blessed me with healing over and over and over again, more times than I can count.
  1. God has brought me into the presence of some might fine people. And I am privileged to call some of them friends.
  1. God has snatched me from the dark path of mainstream religion and damnation and brought me to the light of His Truth and salvation through Christ Jesus (Acts 2:38).

What’s your testimony? Please give three accounts of how God blessed you.

A Crumb From The Master’s Table

The Master's Table

“I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” – Genesis 12:3

“It is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.” – Romans 9:8

“And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.”- Galatians 3:29

bar47

As water baptized, Holy Spirit filled, born-again obedient children of God, we are heirs of the promises of God to Abraham. Thus, we are conduits through which blessing flow. When others give unto us, God promises to give unto them. Likewise, when others offend us, God promises to offend them. (Romans 12:19 and 2 Thessalonians 1:6)

If someone really wants the favor of God upon their lives, then they should bless His anointed vessels – The Children of the Promise – the born-again saints of God, especially those who labor in His Word and doctrine. (Galatians 6:6-7)

A Crumb From The Master’s Table

The Master's Table

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.  If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?  Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.”  ~ 1 John 3:16-18

bar47

True love can not be measured simply by what we say.  Love is measured by what we give away.

When God showed His love for mankind, He gave us His only begotten Son.

There are those who say that they “Love you” because it sounds and looks good to say. But there are those who truly love, in their actions and what they give away. (Bishop O.W. Prince)

A Crumb From The Master’s Table

The Master's Table

“…I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.” – Philippians 4:11

bar47

We must learn to be content. It is not natural to be content in poverty, grief, pain and suffering but spiritual contentment is a learned state of being through the grace of God.

D.L. Lawrence wrote: “I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself.”

What the birds knows instinctively, we must learn spiritually. God has it all in control and is very much aware of where we are and in what circumstances we are in. And whether we live or whether we die, it is all to the glory of God. (Philippians 1:21)

It is only human to sometimes feel sorry for ourselves. However, we are challenged and instructed to give thanks in all things. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Praise God in whatever circumstances you are in and watch your outlook change.

A Crumb From The Master’s Table

The Master's Table

Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.” – Mark 8:34-35

bar47

If we want to live we must first die (repent). If we want to increase in Christ, we must decrease in self.

Those of us who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

“For, as far as this world is concerned, we are already dead, and our true life is a hidden in God, through Christ.” (Ref. Col 3:3)

Death To Self is NOT Optional for Christians. It is a way of life.
