Did You Know?

Hebrews 4 word-of-God1

~ This article is intended for the mature Christian and takes for granted that its readers have been exposed to some formal  education regarding the history of the Bible. This post may be too radical for some.  ~

Did you know that at one time it was considered against the Law of the Church and State to translate the Holy Scriptures into a common language for the public to be able to read it?

Did you know that one of the Bible translators who translated the Holy Scriptures into English was burned at the stake as a heretic?

Did you know that Monarchs, Emperors and Kings commissioned their own scholars to translate the Holy Scriptures into their own versions and that they sanctioned the adding of various stories to the text of THE BOOK and omitted whole books from the Bible?

Did you know that at one time it was against the Law to be caught with an “unauthorized” version of the Bible?

Did you realize that the Apostles, Evangelists, Deacons/Ministers, Teachers, Preachers, Bishops/Elders and Disciples from the original first century “Church of Jesus Christ” did not preach out of the Bible but out of the Holy Spirit of Christ?

Did you know that God never told us to believe in the Bible?

Did you know that God nor Christ equated the Bible with The Living Word of God?

Did you realize that it is possible to know the Bible without actually knowing the WORD of GOD?

REPENT!!!

1 John 2_27

The Holy Scripture themselves record the Holy Word of God saying to the Pharisees that, “You search the scriptures, for in them you hope that you have eternal life, and they testify concerning Me (The Eternal Saving Word of God).”

And again Christ is recorded as saying, “No one can come to Him unless the Father who sent him draws them.”

And the Holy Scripture records Christ as proclaiming that “HE IS THE LIVING WORD, The Way and The Truth and The Life; no man comes to The Father but by Him alone.”

No where in the New Testament Holy Scriptures does it teach us that Eternal Life is found in the Bible.

No where in the New Testament Holy Scriptures does it tell us that the Bible contains eternal life and salvation.

No where in the New Testament Holy Scriptures does it proclaim that by reading the Bible one may discover eternal life and unveil the mysteries of God.

My friends, The Holy Bible itself teaches us that it is the Holy Spirit of God that reveals Truth and leads us to eternal life in Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:10
For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

Without the teaching Power of the Holy Spirit, we will remain in utter confusion and darkness regarding genuine salvation and the Word of God.

The Holy Scriptures are good to know but to know its Author is better.

  1. Amen! Amen! Amen! Exactly Bishop! That is why I named my blog, ‘pray for revelation’ because that is how we are going to receive the truth of God’s Word. We may receive the truth from various Preachers, but still we must do our own investigation through prayer to confirm what we hear is the truth. There is no such thing of interpreting the Word of God. Here is what 2Peter 1:20,21 says: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Interpretation is a devised tool of Satan to deceive men, thus the myriad of denominations. You are spot on Bishop! God bless you and yours and all praise and glory to our Father and Jesus Christ who gives us all knowledge and understanding of His Word.

    • All praises and honor belongs to God in Christ. Amen.

It is so refreshing and encouraging to hear another of the Faith affirm the TRUTH of divine revelation through the Holy Spirit. It is you who are “spot on.” And I thank God for you and the revelation that He has shared with us.

May God Continue To Bless You and Keep You In Every Area of Your Life and May Your Heart’s Desires Be Realized Today.
