19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19)
The Lord has not commanded that we celebrate his birth but his Holy Sacrifice in the Crucifixion and His Victory in the Resurrection.
And although there is nothing intrinsically wrong with celebrating the birth of the Holy Messiah, there is also nothing wrong with celebrating Christ everyday of the year like we do at “Christmas time.”
For REAL Christians, everyday is a time for giving, being generous, being considerate, being charitable, loving, forgiving, helping, praying, reaching out, being humble, being kind, being honest, self-sacrificing and thankful.
The REAL Challenge is for us to acknowledge Christ for Real and not just for the “Christmas Season.”
REAL Christianity is not a seasonal thing but an Eternal One and it begins Internally.
