Then My Living Shall Not Be in Vain

On this past weekend I attended a memorial service for an elderly gentleman.  The presiding personality came to a portion of the service where family, friends, community and church were asked to say something memorable about the deceased; to speak to his good qualities, deeds, character, personality or service.  After a long moment of deathly silence, not one soul rose to speak on his behalf.  No one had anything to say.

I thought that this was a sad commentary to the close of a life that had spent over 73 years on earth.

I am sure that someone had something good to say about the deceased.  However, they just weren’t at the funeral that day.

This made me pause and think to myself, “I don’t want my living to be in vain.”  I want somebody to miss something about me that would make it easy for them to speak at my memorial service.  I want to help somebody to the extent that if they were to be asked to help eulogize me, it wouldn’t a chore but a pleasant stroll down memory lane.

If I can help somebody, as I pass along,
If I can cheer somebody, with a word or song,
If I can show somebody, how they’re travelling wrong,
Then my living shall not be in vain.

COUNTERFEIT HOLY SPIRIT: Lying Spirits of Deception in the Churches

End Times Prophecy Report

COUNTERFEIT SPIRIT: There is one Holy Spirit. There are many lying and deceiving spirits, especially the spirit of antichrist.COUNTERFEIT HOLY SPIRIT: There is one Holy Spirit. There are many lying and deceiving spirits, especially the spirit of antichrist.

 TRADING THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR MYSTICISM

COUNTERFEIT HOLY SPIRIT: The Bible commands believers to test every spirit. But many Christians want an experience very badly. Many sitting in American churches want to feel a “move of God” or a “move of the Spirit.” And so, because so many do not walk by faith but by sight, spirits of deception enter into the churches. What are a few of these spirits? Why are they so prevalent today?

FALSE SPIRITS HAVE INVADED THE AMERICAN CHURCH

LYING SPIRITS

SPIRITS OF DECEPTION

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE

The Master's Table
Psalm 139:7-24

New King James Version (NKJV)

7 Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,”
Even the night shall be light about me;
12 Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You,
But the night shines as the day;
The darkness and the light are both alike to You.

13 For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.

19 Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God!
Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men.
20 For they speak against You wickedly;
Your enemies take Your name in vain.
21 Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You?
And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred;
I count them my enemies.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
24 And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.

God, you are in control. My best efforts and plans are only prayers of hope for your divine guidance in my life.  Please guide me in the way everlasting so that I may dwell in The House of the Lord forever. May Your Will Be Done In me! Amen!

SATAN: IN THE PULPIT–A SABBATH DAY MESSAGE

“Rediscovering YHVH'S Authentic Ekklesia"

Satab in the Pulpit

One of the many reasons that I don’t sit in everyone’s pulpit is that Satan is in the pulpit.

Either Satan, his ministers and/or his doctrines are spewing deceptive lies from the sacred desk and I am commanded by God not to knowingly support Satan and his false church neither by association or endorsement.

The Word of God says it plainly for all to see and read, and most importantly, to hear!

“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” (Eph. 5:11)

The unsaved cannot understand this.  How can they?  They have not the Spirit of Christ but of church and religion.

Many, when trying to join The One True Church of our LORD Jesus Christ, were deceived and intercepted by Satan’s churches.  They were instructed to recite a ritual out of a “Book of Discipline” or a Book of Rules & Rituals,” or…

Whatever tasks that we have or whatever endeavor we may undertake, we should perform it to the best of our ability with passion, determination and love – striving for perfection as if it were for the LORD.

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”  (Colossians 3:17 NIV)

We must do all things, whether in speech or in deed, as if we were speaking and working on behalf of the Lord Jesus Christ.  This is how we glorify the Father in His name.

“Jimmy, Raymond And Their Sick Friend”– A Sabbath Day Message

black boys 2

Jimmy Carolina and Raymond Shaw and I became friends years ago. And while we were children, we had different beginnings but we became tight friends, at least that’s how I feel about us.

I seemed to have always had asthma or some kind of breathing problem that kept me sidelined a lot during my very early years.

When we were about 12 years old, Jimmy, Raymond and I, set out on an adventure without our parents’ knowledge or permission. On one Sunday evening after church and dinner, Jimmy, Raymond and I rode our bicycles about 3-5 miles outside of Mayesville. We took a secondary road that carried us by Raymond and Jimmy’s former residences as they now lived in town.

While cycling, I had an asthma attack and had to stop and then it struck me that I was the only one that couldn’t breath and we were miles from town out in hot, humid conditions, surrounded by cotton fields and corn fields and no one knew where we were. I had brought my inhaler but it wasn’t enough. So we stopped riding our bikes and walked the rest of the way home—only riding for short moments when I felt up to it.

These guys could have left me down that old farm road but they stuck with me until we made it .home.

Although life and years have separated us, there is still a shared bond that we have even to this day.

As I thought about the experiences we have shared as boys and me not being left out because of my limitations, I begin to thank God!

The Lord Jesus Christ is recorded as saying  in Matthew’s Gospel the 18th Chapter verse 3, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

We are instructed to become like little children.  And therefore we are to love like children love.  Forgive like children forgive. Trust and Obey God like we are His children.

A child’s love doesn’t see imperfections and limitations as much as it feels love and bonds with those who love back.  A child’s love is not condemning but encouraging.

But we must ask ourselves, “where did we, as a civilization and a people, lose our love for fellow man and neighbor? Who told us that we had to stop loving each other with a child-like love?”

Do you have friends from childhood?

Do you have someone who will stick with you, no matter what you are going through, until you get home?

Do you have someone who will not shun you because you have a short coming or some limitations?

I know someone who will stick closer than a brother and never forsake you. His name is Christ Jesus.

For he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

A CRUMB FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE

The Master's Table

“Therefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants.When he began to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. And since he could not pay, his master ordered him to be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made. So the servant fell on his knees, imploring him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you everything. And out of pity for him, the master of that servant released him and forgave him the debt. But when that same servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii, and seizing him, he began to choke him, saying, ‘Pay what you owe.’ So his fellow servant fell down and pleaded with him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you.’ He refused and went and put him in prison until he should pay the debt. When his fellow servants saw what had taken place, they were greatly distressed, and they went and reported to their master all that had taken place. Then his master summoned him and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’ And in anger his master delivered him to the jailers, until he should pay all his debt. So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.”

Matthew 18:23-35 (ESV)

We must always remember that we all owe a debt that we cannot pay.  So be careful how you treat your debtors or else your debt may come due today.

God is watching you.
