~ WE FIGHT ON OUR KNEES ~
There are those who use the weapons of social activism, rhetoric, speeches, political and legislative processes to fight injustice, racism, bigotry, judicial disparity, racial profiling, discrimination and hate in order to affect social changes and bring about equality and fairness. And we certainly need those folks who can use those weapons to effect positive changes. That is their calling and it is how they fight.
But that is not how we fight.
“The weapons of our warfare are not of this world. But divinely powerful for the destruction of strongholds.” – 2 Corinthians 10:4
For “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” – 2 Chronicles 7:14
IF WE ARE TO EVER ESCAPE THE HORRORS OF AN OPPRESSIVE LAND, GOD’S PEOPLE MUST PRAY.”
