A Crumb From The Master’s Table

The Master's Table

A Good Worship Service is Not Always God’s Worship Service.

Just like there are Gospel performers who perform songs with such passion, charisma and vocal acrobatics that we are moved emotionally to believe that they are actually living for God and that their singing is anointed, there are also preachers and pastors so talented that they too can perform with such flare, passion and charisma that we are deceived into believing that they are anointed and are living the life that they preach about.

But Not So! It is just a career choice. It is just a means to an end – a financial end. Now let me be clear. I am speaking only of the charlatans, actors, actresses, performers and con artists.

Don’t confuse talent with divine anointing! And don’t confuse emotional displays with the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

Satan can imitate almost everything God does. He comes so close to looking and sounding like God that the very elect are in danger of being deceived by him. – Matthew 24:24

“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!” – Galatians 1:8

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” – 1 John 4:1

God’s Holy Spirit Filled saints will maintain the True Gospel of The Kingdom of God and not reject or minimize His divine plan of salvation – Repentance, Water Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ and the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit as evidenced by the speaking in tongues.

Believe the Words of Christ. They are Spirit and they are life.
