A Crumb From The Master’s Table

The Master's Table

Have you ever been disappointed by a friend? Did a friend ever stab you in your back? Did a friend or family member ever betray your trust? Did a friend or lover ever steal from you or cause you financial and emotional injury? Do you still feel as if you can trust a real good friend? Umm?

“I am commanded to love you but I cannot trust you.”

“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” – Jeremiah 17:5

“Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.” – Micah 7:5

“Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.” – Psalm 146:3

“It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in humans.” – Psalm 118:8

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.” – Jeremiah 17:7
