There is something about the whole structure and idea of the modern Christian church life that irritates my Spirit and I do believe that I have the Holy Spirit in this. Most modern churches are expressing a necessity to perform and to produce, to be active and relevant, for the sake of justifying its existence and its doctrines without having been sent, taught, authorized, empowered and approved by God or Christ.
They are self-willed, religious institutions of Satan perpetrating the deception of holiness while undoing the purposes of God. They act righteous on the surface while underneath are dead men bones and the putrefying flesh of sexual immorality, greed, lewdness, profanity, drunkenness, lies, deceptions, politics, hatred and prejudice. They erect magnificent buildings to attract and warehouse deceived souls who are captivated by architecture, intellectualism and credentialism. They are led by spiritual leaders of their own making and not God-sent, born-again, Holy Spirit filled men of God. These sad souls end up practicing idolatry — worshipping the church and its institution instead of God.
These counterfeit Christian congregations and churches are anxious to act and to perform for the sake of their own recognition and validation. Many of today’s modern Churches and ministries are bound up in the carnal efforts to be great and glorious in the sight of the world – proclaiming colorful and exciting stories of religious experiences that have nothing to do with God’s eternal commands and requisites for Salvation. They decree and declare false hope and lead many to damnation with a smile and a sinner’s prayer.
But, the Lord is about to return for a glorious Church – without spot or wrinkle – a glorious Church, living a holy and heavenly life, produced by the power of the Spirit of Christ that is only present in those of us who have received Christ through repentance, water baptism in His name and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit – which is Christ in us.
