“God’s Curse” / This Week’s Word and Prayer for April 15, 2013 (Re-Post from August 2, 2011)

This Week’s Word

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse [eternally condemned]! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse [eternally condemned! (Galatians 1:6-9)

This Week’s Prayer

Father, it is in the name of the LORD YeHoWsHua* (Jesus Christ) we pray. Father in Heaven, we pray to You to forgive us for temporarily turning to another gospel other that the gospel of the Kingdom of God.  We were deceived by Satan and tricked by his human agents to follow the man-made traditions of religions. Please forgive us for our error.  We repent today of the prosperity gospels. We repent today of the seed faith gospels. We repent today of the harvest time gospels. We repent today of the wisdom gospels. We repent today of every false, demonic, wealth driven, greed guided, self-serving, humanly contrived gospel that this world offers its children — which are really no gospel at all. We boldly proclaim the Gospel of Christ as the only True Gospel of Salvation.  All other gospels are eternally damned and those who follow them are lost. Thank You for calling us out of darkness into the marvelous Grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Empower us to continue in The Gospel of Christ Jesus. This is our prayer in the name of the LORD YeHoWsHua* (Jesus the Christ), Amen.

Footnote: *The Hebrew spelling of the name of Christ is used in this prayer for educational purposes. Yehowshua is often shorten to Yeshua but out of respect for my Lord I chose to use the spelling of His proper name to demonstrate that His name is above every name and that even the spelling of His name is relative to the spelling of The Father’s name – remembering that there were not any vowels in the Hebrew alphabets. Thus, YHWH (Yahweh) and YeHoWsHua (Yahweh is salvation) are grammatically and uniquely related. Notice the Y-H-W-H in both the Father and the Son.
