“PRECIOUS” – THIS WEEK’S WORD & Prayer/ FEBRUARY 25, 2013 / RE-POSTED FROM JULY 11, 2011

0011 OWprince copy “Precious”
“In the history of Israel, God destroyed nations and civilization to rescue His children from harm. If indeed we belong to God, God will move heaven and earth to rescue us from danger. We are so precious in His sight that those who dare to oppose us, injure us or  hinder us are condemned to face the dreadful wrath of God.  We who dwell in the shelter of the Most High have only to rest and observe the punishment of those who worked evil against us.  God has promised to trouble those who troubled us. (Psalm 91:8, 2 Thessalonians 1:6)
Psalm-32-7
Today’s Word
“Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life.” ~ Isaiah 43:4 (ESV)
Today’s Prayer
Holy Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray to You.  Have mercy on us for the many sins that we have committed from time to time.  Please forgive us our trespasses against You.  We repent of every wrong thought and deed that we have committed.  we are awed and humbled at the very thought that we could be viewed as precious in Your eyes.  Thank You for taking on our sin so that we could take on your righteousness through Faith in Christ Jesus.  Please help us to see ourselves as You see us.  Empower us to Love ourselves as You love us.  Help us to walk in the assurance of Your Love.  Thank You for delivering us from our enemies and from those who would do us harm.  Thank You that no weapon fashioned against us can succeed.  Thank You for condemning every tongue that speaks evil against us without cause.  You are our vindication and our salvation and it is you who are precious in our sight.  In Jesus’ Name we Pray, Amen.
