Too often I have heard people say that we (Christians) are all serving the same God or that we are all members of the One Church.
This is s a lie.
The Bible says that there is “One Lord, One Faith and One Baptism” (Ephesians 4:5). This indicates a single BODY of faithful and obedient saints. But it doesn’t say that everyone, regardless of doctrine or “church”affiliation, is a part of it.
The early first century Saints understood the authority of the apostles of Christ and was unified in One doctrine, One belief and One practice. They could say that there is “One Lord, One Faith and One Baptism” because they all were baptized the same way into water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (YeHoVsHua Ha’ Mashiach) and they all received the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha-Kodesh) that manifested himself by the audible evidence of speaking in tongues (Unknown language of angels — 1 Corinthians 13:1). Repentance, water baptism, the Holy Ghost, i.e., Salvation was not a private matter or a symbolic gesture but genuine and experiential.
However, today’s Christians (As opposed to Saints) are divided in almost every area of doctrine, belief and practice. They baptize differently from each other. They preach different messages from each other. They hold different beliefs than their so-called brethren. They all disobey the eternal commandments of God and disregard different eternal moral codes of holiness. They don’t worship together because they cannot agree on anything together. They don’t gather together because they don’t truly love each other and therefore do not love God (1 John 4:20). Some cannot stand each other. Some actually hate each other. The vast majority of contemporary Christians are splintered into over 33,000 denominations not including Catholic (1 Corinthians 1:10). So how can they say that they are all serving the same God when all don’t believe or practice the same things? They don’t even obey God’s Holy commandments but employ theology to interpret(rewrite) the commandment to suit their imaginations and justify their arrogance. (2 Timothy 4:3)
No! We are not all serving the same God (THE ONE TRUE GOD YHVH) and we are not all part of the One True Church – THE EKKLESAI of CHRIST. (Matthew 16:18)
The One Truth Church is not denominational, Catholic nor has any worldly distinctions. The One Truth Church or rather the ONE true EKKLESIA is not physical but Spiritual and it consists of those of us who are born-again, Repented of disobedience to Yahweh, born of the water and of the Spirit; the called out ones who keep the commandments of God in love and faithfulness; who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh.
